John has been behind the wheel since 2006, safely getting the people of Whitby from A to B with a smile.
His wife, Nat, is usually armed with a bucket and sponge, helping to keep the taxis sparkling, before swapping them for her phone to create the posts you see on the Fudge’s Taxis Facebook page and @fudgetaxi on Instagram.
So, if you’ve ever wondered who’s behind the steering wheel… or who’s behind the Facebook posts… now you know!

The friendly voices behind the phone and a huge (and incredibly efficient!) part of the Fudge’s Taxis team.
Between them, Alison and Natasha have 10 years’ experience, and their fantastic knowledge of Whitby and the surrounding area means they can arrange your booking swiftly and efficiently.
Whether you’re heading home, catching a train, or simply saying, “It’s that little street behind the old bakery…” , they’ll usually know exactly where you mean!
They’re already well known and much loved for their friendly, reassuring phone manner, and they’ll always do everything they can to get you a taxi as quickly as possible.
